Although there were not any dramatic turns within the plot lines, they were chock-full of romance and just your basic ‘feel good’ moments. I was given Courting Emily in exchange for my honest review.
Elam is very different from Luke, which makes for difficult decisions for all…especially when Luke comes back. When I read Caroline’s Secret last year (first in the Wells Landing series), I knew there was a new name to add to the “must read” authors in the Amish market. It becomes difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. The book market seems to have become inundated with what some are calling “bonnet books” and every person is now calling him or herself an author. To break out into the Amish genre is a tremendous feat these days.
